We learnt that ANZAC stands for Australia, New Zealand Army
Corps. The ANZAC's fought in Gallipoli which is in Turkey. We observe ANZAC day to remember all the people who fought and died in the war. We wear poppies to help us remember the
war. Poppies grew in Flanders field which was a place where soldiers fought and died.
Learning investigation: I look in the car park and I can

Yesterday I went to assembly. We got Duffy books. Mr Mac talked to us about writing his Doug the Digger books.
I felt nervous going to assembly. I like singing in front of the whole school.
