We should adopt a little blue penguin because we take good care of our penguins in Room 9.

The crazy science show

At 2 o'clock on  Wednesday there was a science

show in the hall.  It was funny because his  head blow up and it hypnotised me. He also made big bubbles.

Spooky House Story

Once upon a time I sneaked up to the mysterious house. In the room I was scared because it was freaky. A ghost said Raaaaaaaaa!!!  That gave me a fright. I ran and I hid and it never found me.

Blending with Pastels

Room 9 has been learning to blend with the pastels. We had to watch a video on how to blend. We blended 3 pictures - a fire, waves and a leaves. The colours we used were red, white, green, yellow and orange.

Football

LI: Can I improve my sentences by using who, what, where, when and why?

Room 9 played football on the field and we learnt new skills. We  practiced dribbling the football nd we played a game.

          

ANZAC day and poppies

We learnt that ANZAC stands for Australia, New Zealand Army 
Corps. The ANZAC's fought in Gallipoli which is in Turkey. We observe ANZAC day to remember all the people who fought and died in the war. We wear poppies to help us remember the
war. Poppies grew in Flanders field which was a place where soldiers fought and died.
