my rhino story

We have been using pictures to write stories. I wrote one about a Rhino picture

 
One sparkly night Rhiney woke up. She woke her friend Lazy up to came with her to have drink. Rhiney had a drink and the gad was Lazy. The we went back home and went to sleep.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                

Exploring

L.I Can I write one or more compound sentences joined by and or but?

I went exploring up the mountain and I found a penguin. I played with the penguin and we had fun. I asked the penguin if it would like to come home with me. It said yes so it came home with me.

Cross Country

I was sitting in my house. Then  Miss Davenport came to pick me up. Then I went to the start line. "BANG!" went the clapper and I ran. I went around the field with out stopping. I felt proud of myself.
